Well, what can I say about this Madonna. She’s been around for 2 decades now and yet her popularity seems unlikely to fade away. I was 13 when I first heard her song , Material Girl, sung by a student at my school concert. Since then, it’s history. I thoroughly enjoyed her total package in making herself such an irresistible icon in the music industry. Who can I think more as ever exciting as she is. Maybe Janet Jackson is, and maybe Marilyn Manson will be. We’ll see about that…. But do enjoy while you surf!

Nov 12,98 - Congratulations to Madonna for winning the awards, Best Female Singer and Best New Album. "I want to thank my record company WEA for all their support over the years, everyone at MTV, and especially my fans," Madonna said as she accepted the award. At a backstage news conference, Madonna added that the European record market was "a lot more important than the U.S. market in many ways since it is made up of so many different countries", and said she planned to do a world tour next summer.

Oct 23,98 - At VHI Fashion Awards, Madonna accepted the first-ever "Versace Award" and won "Most Fashionable Artist". According to her fans who attended the show, Madonna sang "The Power of Goodbye" amazingly beautiful on live with an echo effect. She had the Harlem Violin children group with her performing the strings (probably, that's her connection which she previously attached to the movie project, "50 Violins"). Each time she appeared on stage (3 times that is, I think), she wore different sets of dresses that made the crowds wild!
